AJ Chambers is partnered with a Legal 500 law firm who are recruiting a Conveyancing Assistant in their Grays office.

The individual will be confident with strong experience supporting a Fee Earner with the management of their caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support your Fee Earner(s) in the management of their caseload by actioning legal procedures as directed by the Fee Earner(s);
  • Contract Reports, Mortgage Reports, Reporting Gifts and Incentives;
  • To carry out electronic ID checks
  • Update sales negotiators as and when required;
  • Once signed off by Fee earner, exchange contracts and prepare exchange paperwork;
  • Taking instructions from clients;
  • Sending terms and conditions of business and estimates of fees and disbursements;
  • Issuing contracts and dealing with any related sale or part exchange enquiries;
  • Carry out any additional admin work within the department or organisation.

Skills Required:

  • 3 years of experience working in Conveyancing within a law firm
  • Excellent communication and timekeeping skills
  • Positive, professional, and friendly persona
