Quantity Surveyor - Facades

Russell Taylor Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a full time Facades Quantity Surveyor in Essex.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the cost, procurement, and financial aspects of facade construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule. You will work closely with project teams, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of facade-related works.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
·Education:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

·Experience:
At least 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on facade or building envelope systems.
Strong knowledge of facade construction methods, materials (e.g., curtain walling, cladding, glazing systems), and industry standards.
Previous experience managing large-scale facade projects, including commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
·Skills:
 Strong proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
 Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
 Familiarity with project management software
 Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively    with various stakeholders.
  Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards related to facade     construction.
