We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our expanding National Group, which encompasses three distinct companies. This role is integral to supporting our Finance Director, focusing on maintaining precise financial records and administrative efficiency. It's an ideal position for individuals keen to enhance their finance expertise while playing a key role in our group's success.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and assist with the purchase and sales ledgers for all three companies.
  • Oversee and verify timesheets for engineers across the companies.
  • Provide robust administrative support to the Finance Director.
  • Handle internal and external financial inquiries.
  • Actively contribute to the financial and administrative functions of the group.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the Finance Director.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in finance or administrative roles is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and handling queries from customers or suppliers.
