School based Speech and Language Therapist - SEMH Setting
We have a great opportunity for experienced paediatric Speech and language therapist to join our partner specialist schools across sisters schools in Chelmsford Essex as soon as possible.
The seamless therapeutic approach means that therapists and teachers 'work as one' to aid pupils' social, emotional, behavioural and educational development. These specialist SEMH schools hold therapy and a therapeutic approach at the heart of everything they do, understanding that if pupils feel emotionally and mentally well, they are able to play and learn effectively.
Candidates must have:
- Degree level, fully qualified therapist in own specialised field
- Registration with appropriate body - HCPC
- Experience of working with children & young people in challenging contexts
- A range of experience in own specialised therapeutic field
- Experience of operating in the classroom or similar environments
