Quality Manager

Office Based (Within commutable distance from Chelmsford and Stansted)

My client is a growing manufacturing company who supply into the Automotive and Aerospace sectors. They are looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. This position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is looking for a new challenge or alternatively an individual looking for a step up in their career.

You will be required to take the lead on a new product area where you will provide new solutions, maintain a high standard of product quality and support with future growth of the business. The right individual will have a clear understanding of ISO quality standards and ideally have experience working in a ITAAF environment.

Key responsibilities of the Quality manager include;

  • Completing audits for production and logistics
  • Carrying out equipment inspections
  • Ensuring health and safety requirements are met and carrying out risk assessments
  • Managing QMS
  • Completing product approvals (PPAP)
  • Creating quality strategies and policies

Key experience of the Quality Manager include;

  • Great attention to detail
  • Previous experience with auditing
  • Strong communication skills and previous experience working within multiple people
  • Engineering and manufacturing experience
  • Forward-thinking
  • A good understanding of ISO quality standards
