Service Engineer

The Company
A market leading manufacturing company who design and maufacture special purpose machinery are looking for an experienced project engineer to join their team.
The Role
The successful candidate will have a sound engineering knowledge, and a track record of successful project delivery, ideally within the food Industry, or an engineering environment
This is an office-based role with visits to customer sites being part of the role. Overnight UK trips, and overseas travel may also be a requirement of this position. In some cases, the Project engineer may be required to oversee the installation on site and manage subcontractors, in the UK or abroad
The work will include the following:
Take responsibility for contracts from the receipt of order through to successful install and handover
Be the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the life of the project
Produce project documentation
Develop and agree the Project Scope with the customer and sales team
Organise delivery and installation of the equipment
Specifying and sourcing bought out components and equipment
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must
1. Experience in a similar role in a process engineering environment, ideally in the Food Processing Industry.
2. Proven history of running successful engineering projects.
3. Proficient in the use of Autocad LT.
4. A knowledge of Steam systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and pipework, along with a basic understanding of electrical control systems would be highly beneficial.
5. UK Driving Licence required.
