As Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the transactional elements of the role.
Duties and responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant:
- Solely responsible for the sales ledger for 4 companies
- Processing all sales ledger invoices and ensuring all are correct
- Allocation of cash onto the ledger
- Production of reports on Excel
- Credit control (minimal)
- Assist with other areas in the accounts team ie purchase ledger
Skills and experience required for the Finance Assistant:
- Previous experience in a similar role is mandatory.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage workload.
- Team player - a strong team-player with the ability to be flexible and support colleagues.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement within the finance team and wider business.
- Good I.T. skills - full system training will be provided.
