Job Title:             Sales Administrator

Location:             Malvern WR14

Salary:                 Up to £25,000

Hours:                  9am – 5pm

 

You will be responsible for all aspects of pre-production, ensuring the smooth transition from sales to production. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication with various departments and customers.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor production dates and inform the sales team of any potential delays to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Issue planning lists to the production team and generate weekly staffing level reports.
  • Maintain and update the bill of materials, ensuring timely follow-ups with relevant parties.
  • Prepare job packs with all necessary paperwork accurately inserted.
  • Check pricing upon receipt of purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Provide weekly updates to customers regarding their orders.
  • Communicate with the production team about any jobs with tight deadlines.
  • Conduct daily meetings to review upcoming orders.
  • Assist with print and stock orders as needed.
  • Ensure production tasks are completed and checked off as scheduled.
  • Monitor the 7-day list and coordinate with the Purchasing Manager to order necessary raw materials.

 

Experience:

 

  • Previous experience in a pre-production or administrative role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with production planning software or ERP systems.
  • Experience in the packaging industry is desired, but not essential.
