One of our local clients in Great Missenden is looking for someone to support their busy team as an Administration Assistant. This is a full-time permanent role, looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE:
60% Order/quote processing
We use a Microsoft Access database to manage the sales order processing side of the business, so excellent data entry skills and a high level of attention to detail are required.
15% General admin managing the main email inbox, filing, and posting invoices and statements therefore, we require someone who is highly organised
25% Telephone messaging and assisting directors with typing and sending emails, purchase ordering, scanning and sending product samples.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Good, formal/professional telephone manner
Good admin background, ideally with experience of sales order processing
Good level of computer literacy (primarily Microsoft Office), along with decent typing speed
Able to juggle multiple tasks concurrently and happy with interruptions
Able to work off own initiative in a small office environment and able to manage telephone enquiries if others are out on appointments
Meticulous attention to detail a must.
Able to support a non Tech-savvy Director
HOURS OF WORK
Monday - Thursday, 9:30am -4 pm (4:30pm during busy periods of the year)Friday 9.30am- 3.30pm (4:30pm during busy periods of the year)
Half hour for lunch
HOLIDAY- 25 days + Bank holidays
