AA Euro Group are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor for M&E packages, to join our clients team based on site in Braintree Essex. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management and quantity surveying services for mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of job duties and may be subject to change based on the needs of the company.

  • Manage contract administration and procurement processes for M&E works.
  • Perform regular cost monitoring and reporting throughout project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for the organization.
  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts and settlement of contractual claims.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in M&E quantity surveying.
  • Utilize building information modelling (BIM) and 3D models to enhance accuracy and efficiency in quantity take-off.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement methods.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
