P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently seeking a Business Developerto join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time permanent basis.

Role Summary:
The Business Developer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential customers. They will schedule and coordinate sales calls with our team of Sales Account Managers and will be incentivised through a commission-based structure tied to the number of new customers who attend these calls.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers through various channels such as outbound calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they are a good fit for the products and services.
  • Conduct outreach to potential customers via phone, email, and social media to introduce company and the offerings.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of the products and services.
  • Schedule and coordinate sales calls with qualified leads and sales account managers.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Track and report on key metrics related to lead generation and appointment setting.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead conversion rates.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of campaigns and messaging.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sales development.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday – Friday, 39 hours per week
