Marketing Administrator

We are looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is office-based in Great Yarmouth, offering part-time hours across 2-3 days a week, with a preference for Mondays or Tuesdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support our marketing efforts, including managing communications and maintaining our marketing database.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Answering the phone and effectively managing the marketing mailbox.
  • Updating missing job titles and contact details on the company database.
  • Creating visual content for social media and posting online website stories.
  • Crafting and sending out email campaigns using Mailchimp.
  • Reviewing and testing induction and marketing crib sheets, making corrections where necessary.
  • Filing crib sheets correctly, including the Marketing Appendix with print materials and artwork.
  • Evaluating potential trade shows and events for attendance and exhibition opportunities.
  • Updating Mailchimp templates in consultation with the Yard Manager to enhance visual appeal.
  • Ensuring supporting documents sent with quotes are correctly branded and up to date.
  • Reviewing and updating directory listings to ensure all information is current and correctly branded.
  • Distributing and monitoring responses to Survey Monkey on Off Hire.
  • Formatting data in Excel spreadsheets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
  • Proven design skills
  • Good grasp of grammar and punctuation.
  • Excellent telephone manner and the ability to navigate gatekeepers for research purposes.
  • Ability to liaise with external suppliers, such as designers.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
