Job Title: Grinding Operator
Location: Great Yarmouth
Shift: Initially Days for Training, then 15:00pm - 23:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Grinding Operator to join our expanding operation in Great Yarmouth. The successful candidate will undergo initial training during day shifts before transitioning to an evening shift (15:00pm - 23:00pm) once fully trained in grinding operations, material movement, and the use of the PPT truck.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and operate the grinding machinery effectively.
- Work alongside the Duty Production Manager during the training period.
- Handle material movement within the facility.
- Operate the PPT truck after receiving training.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with electric hand trucks is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence may be required to attend training.
- Willingness to complete necessary training and obtain site-specific certifications.
- Ability to work independently after training completion.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in grinding operations or similar manufacturing roles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and commitment to attendance and training progression.
