We are excited to support our client in their search for an HSE Advisor to provide proactive support across all levels of the business on Health, Safety, and Environmental matters.
The primary goal of the HSE Advisor is to ensure the ongoing health and safety of employees, contractors, and visitors, while minimizing the company's environmental impact.
The HSE Advisor will work towards achieving the company’s people and environment objectives by consistently meeting, and where possible, exceeding the health, safety, and environmental standards and obligations set by the company.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide HSE support to allocated vessels both on and off contract
- Promote, implement, and monitor the HSE culture
- Develop procedures and systems to enhance and improve current practices
- Implement training and coaching on HSE-related subjects throughout the company
- Complete HSE sections of tenders and conduct contract reviews for HSE
- Manage shore-based HSE for allocated sites and liaise with safety reps, fire wardens, and first aiders
- Work on safety observation cards to completion for both onshore and offshore sites
- Promote the safety program throughout the business and create and conduct training sessions
- Attend client meetings and conduct HIRAs
- Conduct incident investigations and reporting
Person Specification:
- NEBOSH certificate qualification - Essential
- Personal drive and determination
- Experience auditing HSE systems and conducting incident investigations
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and collaborative ethos
