Working Hours:

Rotating Shift Pattern Week 1 Mon-Thrs 0600 - 1400 Fri 0600 - 1300Week 2 Mon-Thrs 1400 - 2200 Fri 1300 - 2000

Glass Cutting - Transfer CAD data and nest on the machine for optimised use to cut parts from glass sheet.

Glass Grinding - Loading CAD data, programme and operate one of the glass edge grinding machines.

Glass Toughening – Trained to use inhouse bending – toughening processes, on either flat glass, furnace, press bent glass toughing plant or sagged bending glass furnace.

 Glass Printing - Print large detail on to glass prior to going in the furnace.

This position requires the production of glass products produced to a high standard, the ability to learn and understand and work to the required quality standard. You will be trained to read/understand the Engineering drawings highlighting the product requirements. Must be able to lift and manipulate the glass pieces during the assembly process, mechanised lifting is available for heavier pieces. All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

• Attention to detail to ensure quality standard is achieved.

• Clear understanding and belief in behavioural based Health & Safety.

• Ability to work in a calm, controlled approach with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to manage and prioritise workload.

• Self-starter and able to use initiative.

• Good communication skills

• Understand and demonstrate the Company’s core values and become involved in lean improvement initiatives.
