Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experiencedSenior IT Support Engineerto join our client, a reputable engineering services company. This role is ideal for IT professionals with a proactive approach, a strong technical background, and a passion for providing exceptional IT support in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with IT team members to ensure reliable operation of software and systems aligned with business objectives.
Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software issues, both remotely and in person.
Provide first and second-line IT support to all staff and handle escalations when required.
Identify and implement technical and process improvements proactively.
Maintain detailed documentation related to system configuration, processes, and service records.
Provide out-of-hours IT support on an ad hoc basis.
Occasionally travel to vessels for systems and software maintenance.


Skills and Experience Required:
Strong understanding of networking equipment and standards.
Proficient in Office 365, AzureAD, and Intune.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with clear written and verbal communication.
Team-oriented with a collaborative work ethic.
Flexible and adaptable to work in dynamic environments.


Qualifications:
GCSEs or A-Levels in English, Maths, Science, or IT.
Microsoft qualifications preferred.
Full clean driving license required.
