Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Manage the design process of mechanical systems from handover to completion.

• Collaborate with engineers and managers to produce accurate CAD drawings.

• Develop design specifications, ensuring compliance with industry and client standards.

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive design outputs.

• Conduct thorough design checks and oversee approval processes.

• Prepare and validate the Bill of Materials (BoM) for procurement.

• Manage project changes and provide feedback on timelines and progress.

• Take ownership of allocated projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

• Ensure adherence to company quality assurance and design procedures

Mechanical Design Engineer

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, ideally within the water treatment or related sector.

• Proficiency in CAD design, with experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, industry standards, and project deliverables.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver accurate technical drawings.

• Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering team.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.

• Full UK driving licence.
