Research and Development (R&D) Manager – Great Yarmouth
Position 1 Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a client in Great Yarmouth, specialising in the Oil & Gas, Marine and Offshore Industries. They are seeking an experienced Research and Development (R&D) Manager to join their team and lead new and innovative product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review existing products and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop innovative solutions for new product lines.
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from initiation to planning and execution.
- Lead and manage the R&D team, ensuring objectives are set, achieved, and that day-to-day operations run smoothly, including recruitment and performance reviews.
- Ensure all resources and materials are secured for ongoing and new projects, while managing the department’s budget.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair complex printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Experience with electronics, firmware, and software (essential).
- Proven experience in managing a team effectively.
- Marine industry experience is desirable but not essential.
Role Details:
- Monday to Friday (day shifts).
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Based in Great Yarmouth.
