P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking anAccounts Assistant to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a part-time permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare payroll data weekly and monthly for external accountants and add journal entries on accounting software.
- Process supplier invoices.
- Manage invoicing of all customers, statement production and credit control.
- Petty cash management.
- Timesheet data entry.
- Posting bank transactions and bank reconciliation.
- Month-end adjustments including prepayment and accruals.
- Month-end preparation of management accounts.
- General admin and ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Sage 50.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Use initiative and deal with issues as and when they arise.
- Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
- Motivated with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Working hours and Benefits:
- Up to 15 hours per week, every Monday with flexibility over the rest of the week.

- 25 days + bank holidays (based on full time).
