Job Title: Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher

Location: Great Yarmouth

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality education to students with special needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student and help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in a range of subjects.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them overcome their challenges.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of special educational needs and experience working with students with a variety of needs
  • Ability to work with students of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
