Are you a graduate structural engineer with a minimum of one year of buildings deign experience, who would be keen to learn and develop within a small buildings structural engineering practice, working alongside Chartered Engineers?
It is essential that you have no current or future visa requirements, as the firm do not hold a sponsor license. Ability to use Autocad is also essential to the role. Preference will be given to candidates who are already living within commuting distance and who have 2-3 years of structural engineering experience in a range of materials.
You will gain varied hands on design experience, working under supervision, with excellent training for Chartership and exposure to all areas of projects, from inception to completion.
Your role will involve hands on design, site visits, liaison with clients and architects. Projects are very varied, from small residential buildings to large high rise blocks and can range from 0.5 to 20m in value.
Most of the work is in the residential sector but the firm also work on buildings such as warehouses, hotels, religious buildings and structural reports for councils.
This role would suit a bright an ambitious individual who is keen to drive their career forwards.
25 days paid holiday and excellent training for Chartership will be provided.
