We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to join our vibrant all-year-round nursery in Ealing. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous experience as a Nursery Deputy Manager or Third in Charge, who is ready to step into a fulfilling role that makes a significant impact on early years education.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the Nursery Manager in providing leadership and management to the nursery staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and learning opportunities for children, based on the needs and interests of those attending the nursery.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of a stimulating and varied programme of activities, following the EYFS framework.
  • Help to maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers, fostering positive relationships and encouraging their involvement in the nursery.
  • Support the Nursery Manager with administrative tasks and compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
  • Step into the Nursery Manager’s role when required, ensuring the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Contribute to the effective daily management and organisation of the nursery team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Deputy Manager or Third in Charge.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and parents.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education.
