The Role -  Assembly Technician, Scientific Instrumentation

Our client is looking to recruit an Assembly Technician responsible for:

  • Building and calibrating complex scientific instrumentation
  • Receiving and executing work plans
  • Performing integration processes
  • Supporting engineering projects
  • Performing trouble shooting, finding effective and efficient solutions

Your Background - Assembly Technician, Scientific Instrumentation

To succeed in this varied and exciting role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A background in engineering, electro-mechanical assembly or electrical assembly
  • Knowledge of computer controlled instrumentation, precision mechanical and electrical assembly, soldering and other electrical skills would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines while maintaining a methodical approach
