Production Manager - Confectionery Manufacturer
Circa £40k + 10% bonus
Monday to Friday, Day shifts

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing confectionery manufacturer who have seen phenomenal growth in the wholesale & ecommerce businesses and are now looking for an experienced professional who can help them achieve the next phase in the growth plans
The successful Production Manager’s duties will include;
- Lead and coordinate the production staff to maximize efficiency, including creating the schedule, managing labour costs, giving instructions and choosing which production machines to use based on incoming orders.
- Fulfil administrative duties, completing production reports and shift overviews that detail production rates and worker performances.
- Contribute to the hiring process, making recommendations for which candidates are the most capable.

- Train new staff to ensure all employees are performing at the same level
- Develop and manage the production tracking systems for analysing production rates and product quality

Required experience & characteristics;
- At least 3 years’ experience leading, managing a production /manufacturing team
- Experience of working in a confectionery, desserts or chocolate manufacturing
- Reliable & conscientious
- Courteous, polite & professional
