Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? Join a leading tier one contractor specializing in social housing reactive maintenance, based near St Albans.

About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our reactive maintenance projects across social housing properties. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring cost control, value engineering, and contract administration, while working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.
  • Oversee contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve value for money.
  • Ensure accurate cost control and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
