Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children to develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher  on a full-time basis to cover a long term vacancy. The successful SEND teacher will be working across key stages 2 to 4 teaching across the curriculum so a broad curriculum understanding is essential. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

-          QTS

-          Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, ADHD and SEMH

-          Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
