Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Team Leader for a local Sawmill to join a growing team.
The role is hands-on and shop floor-based, requiring a good understanding of health and safety standards.
Candidates should have team leading experience and strong communication skills, ideally from a factory or warehouse background.
The position offers a salary of approximately £29,000 depending on experience, with opportunities for career progression.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 44 hours per week, with occasional overtime available.

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a local Sawmill and be part of a strong team looking to grow over the next year.

Job Responsibilities

This will be a hands on role very shop floor based leading the Production facility
Have a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
Ensure all products are produced effectively and efficiently as well as maintaining quality standards.
Be accountable for the finished product
Attend daily Production meetings where targets are made clear
Carry out inductions for new starters

About you:

Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements
Possess good team leading skills with a proven track record
Good communicator
A strong personality and have managed people before.
