Accounts Assistant – Grimsby –£25,000 to £30,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be exclusively working alongside a fast-growing FMCG business, based in Grimsby, who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role will offer the candidate the chance to get hands on with the finance function and become a crucial part in plans to drive the business forward.In Return You’ll Receive:

Accounts Assistant responsibilities will include:
  • Raising and processing daily sales invoices, ensuring correct pricing
  • Processing of credit notes and debit notes
  • Checking, reconciling, and processing supplier bills
  • Assisting with weekly cashflow and payment schedules
  • Monitoring accounts receivables, allocation of customer receipts
  • Weekly and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Preparing statutory or regulatory forms as and when required
  • Assist with preparing employee wages
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Credit control management
  • Helping finance colleagues in preparing and circulating periodic reports, including the monthly management information pack
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by members of the finance team
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing business would be a significant advantage
  • AAT qualified is an advantage but not essential
  • Highly numerate and organised
  • Strong IT skills, including excel and ability to manage data
  • Organised and flexible approach to work, with the ability to plan and prioritise
  • Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues
