Position:Operations Administrator (Maternity Cover)
Location:Grimsby
Salary:12.03 per hour
Shift:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, including Bank Holidays

Long Term Maternity Cover (1 year)

While this role is initially long term maternity cover (Urgent Start December), our client is undergoing a rapid period of expansion. While we cannot guarantee a permanent position after the cover period, new opportunities are likely to arise within the organisation.

KeyDuties

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate order processing for inbound and outbound operations using in-house warehouse management systems.

  • Liaise with customers to ensure timely receipt and accurate order details in line with transport delivery schedules.

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Verify, record, and file Proof of Delivery documentation.

  • Collaborate daily with internal departments to ensure the highest level of service is delivered to customers.

  • Assist with various departmental tasks as directed by managers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service or Operations Administration role is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.

  • A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work effectively in a small team.

  • Basic computer literacy, preferably with experience with Windows operating systems.

  • Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and accuracy at work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
