Job Title: 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £85 - £90 per day
Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist to join a Primary School school in the Grimsby area. As a 1:1 Behaviour/SEMH Specialist, you will support a pupil with SEMH and challenging behaviour. You will also be responsible for ensuring he remains on task within the classroom. This is a full time role for at least 6 weeks. Team Teach training is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Offering support to Y3 pupil on a 1:1 basis within and outside of the classroom.
- Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing challenging behaviour.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the pupil.
- Providing guidance and support to the pupil, ensuring their welfare is protected.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or working with challenging behaviour.
- Reliability and stability for the pupil.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- A caring and nurturing personality.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- A valid DBS check.
