We are seeking an experienced Assistant Head Teacher to join a dynamic educational institution in Grimsby. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who has a strong background in managing student behaviour and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead and manage strategies to promote excellent teaching practices and student learning outcomes.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and programs that support student behaviour and SEND.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and the senior management team to foster a positive learning environment.
- Conduct regular reviews of educational practices and make adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of all students.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in managing diverse learning needs.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and the wider community to promote inclusive education and ensure that student needs are met effectively.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial teaching experience.
