Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment, including loaders, excavators, and bulldozers, FLT, Heavy plant shovels
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Plant Operator/Heavy plant shovel or in a similar role
  • Fork lift licence
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
  • Valid driving license and appropriate certification to operate heavy machinery and equipment
