Science Tutor

Location: A school in Grimsby
Salary: £25 – £35 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

GSL Education Lincolnshire is recruiting a dedicated Science Tutor to support small groups of secondary school students in Grimsby. This role is perfect for a science graduate or an aspiring teacher looking to make a difference in learners' academic journeys.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.

• Support students in understanding complex scientific concepts.

• Track progress and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure consistency in delivery.

• Provide mentoring and academic support where necessary.

Requirements:

• Degree in a Science-related subject or relevant experience.

• A passion for education and supporting young people.

• Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
