We are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join a dynamic educational team in Grimsby. This temporary role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching in health and social care subjects.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in health and social care.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and disciplinary systems.
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies, and school regulations.
- Participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
- Experience in teaching Health and Social Care at secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the current curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
