Insolvency Manager - Fast Track to Appointment Taker

Ambition are recruiting for a leading firm in the offshore insolvency sector, with a strong presence in the Channel Islands. The team has grown substantially year on year and have been achieving significant success and recognition in the region. They are now looking for an ambitious Manager to join their Guernsey office and support their continued growth.

The view would be to progress you at pace by supporting you through JIEB and ideally have you taking appointments within a few years, in conjunction with the existing Partners and senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and implementation of case strategy
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to agree case strategy
  • Supervising, mentoring and training junior members of the team with director support
  • Planning, delegating and monitoring cases to ensure that work is completed effectively
  • Reviewing statutory reports, case planning, preparing and monitoring estimated outcome statements and cash flow preparation
  • Monitoring WIP and costs to budget
  • Investigation work and identifying potential areas of review for maximising asset realisations
  • Liaising with solicitors, agents and stakeholders
  • Overseeing and progressing cases from inception to exit or dissolution
  • Identifying risk issues and drawing them to the attention of the Directors

Desired Profile:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate insolvency or offshore financial services experience
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Previous exposure to offshore insolvency or cross-border work is a significant advantage
