  • Legal Frameworks: Conduct thorough assessments in line with legal frameworks, providing tailored support to safeguard at-risk children.
  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Collaborate with professionals across various sectors to provide holistic support to children and families.
  • Care Planning: Facilitate the development of care plans and support solutions, including working towards permanent placements for children when necessary.
  • Reporting & Legal Representation: Prepare comprehensive reports and represent the department in legal proceedings related to child protection matters.
  • Carer Relationships: Foster relationships with foster carers, kinship carers, and adopters, assessing their suitability for caring roles.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support newly qualified social workers and students, sharing your expertise and promoting excellence in practice.
