As a neatly or recently qualified accountant or auditor (ACA/ACCA ) you could join a team of accountants and business advisers with year-on-year growth in a role that will utilise your technical skills or allow you to build upon your staff and client management experience:

  • Manage financial reporting, annual returns, budgeting, and planning
  • Working closely with clients and the senior leadership team, finance directors etc
  • Reviewing accounts and financial reporting and undertaking more complex consolidations
  • Identify broader business and operational needs, and review the implementation of these
  • Mentor, develop, and train junior team members

The successful Assistant Manager is likely to be

  • A nearly or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), with UK-based experience
  • An effective communicator who enjoys a diverse role and building relationships
  • Be considering a move away from audit or a return to Practice from a corporate environment
  • Seeking to develop a career in a secure, growing sector and improve your work-life balance
