We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our Senior Leadership Team, overseeing all financial aspects of my clients UK business within a larger international group. This role is integral to their strategic planning, offering a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and Leadership team to enhance financial processes and drive business performance.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans alongside the Leadership team.
  • Provide accurate and insightful financial advice, analysis, and reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Offer forecasts and insights on financial trends to aid in long-term planning.
  • Lead the annual budget process and monitor cash flows and financial transactions.
  • Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Represent the finance department in projects and transformation programmes.
  • Collaborate on monthly reporting, process optimisation, and budgeting.
  • Responsibility for one member of staff.
  • Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings to discuss and strategise on financial matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must be a qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Strong financial and strategic planning skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in managing financial risk and control activities.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills are necessary.
