Reporting into the Group Finance Director and partnering with the exec team, you will oversee for the Regional and Group management accounting, reporting, overheads, regional stats and regulatory submissions and payroll to ensure the integrity and insight of accounting and performance.

Financial Controller – Responsibilities
- Management Accounting & Financial Control:
- Monthly review of Regional & Global Management Accounts:
- All Management accounts, Financial statements and Balance sheets as generated by the Regional accountants, Finance Manager-US and Payroll supervisor
- Reporting of performance with variance analysis, KPI’s , trends and insight into the drivers
- Development of the Central reporting for overheads and Central support areas e.g. IT, HR, Finance
- Analysis of performance by Region, Client, Category and Business Unit
- Reconciliation of inter-company figures
- Reviewing fees, costs and payment terms and conditions
- Ensuring controls, management reports, exception reports are created , produced and reviewed for accuracy and on time
- Responsible for regional and group payroll
- Leading and assisting with statutory audit preparation and ongoing support with auditors during audit periods in conjunction with Group Financial Accounting Controller
- Liaising with Business teams to ensure alignment of financials with operational actions and changes
- Ensuring and management of regional and Group ledgers ensuring the team perform monthly reconciliations, ensuring accounting integrity, management controls, reports and relevant reconciliations
- Understanding and developing Sage and other reporting systems and developments to improve controls, performance, insight and efficiency
- Any other requirements of the role as directed by your manager and in conjunction with the Management accounting, reporting and performance insight
- Business Reporting & Analysis:
- Preparing and developing monthly management and Exec reports for Group, leading Regional reporting development
- Analysis of monthly results, KPI’s and rationalisation of impacts and changes in performance.
- Monthly Financial reviews and comparisons to Budget and prior year for income statement, balance sheet and cashflow
- Performance insight related to non-financial drivers e.g. clients, initiations, payment terms
- Business partnering with central teams for overheads management, control, reporting and planning.
- Extract data to prepare and develop Management Information and Business Intelligence to act as true business partner to senior Regional and Business teams.
- Assisting with Group projects such as alignment of financial practices and policies, development of X3 technology, global operations processes, software integration, business change etc.
- Completion of specific projects for Finance and support cross functional ones in the business
- Implementation of the SEI project, roll out and adoption by the Regional Finance team.
- Team Management:Â Management of a team of 14 across regional accounting, finance and payroll
 Financial Controller – Required Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential
- Experienced leadership skills with the ability to interact at Exec and Director level
- Change management capability to bring about change in Finance and take the business with us
- Ability to motivate and inspire those around you
- Knowledge of working with various currencies
Finance Manager – The Package
- Salary £70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience
