Financial Controller

Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day from home)

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join the Senior Leadership Team, overseeing all financial aspects of this UK business within a larger international group. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and Leadership team to develop strategic financial plans, improve processes, and provide insightful data to drive performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic financial plans with the Leadership team.
  • Provide financial advice, analysis, and reports.
  • Ensure timely, accurate monthly and annual reports.
  • Offer financial trends, forecasts, and insights.
  • Collaborate on monthly reporting, process optimisation, and budgeting.
  • Lead the annual budget process.
  • Monitor cash flows and financial transactions.
  • Oversee risk management.
  • Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings.
  • Improve finance-related processes 
  • Represent finance in projects and transformation programmes.
  • Ensure compliance and internal control activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong financial and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage financial risk and control activities.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualified experience
