One of the UK's top tier contractors are seeking a Document Controller to join a £90M scheme in Guildford, on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading reputable contractor who works on a nationwide basis across the UK with a turnover exceeding £1bn. This Document Controller role will permanently be based on site 5 days a week, to see the project through to completion.

This Tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in large scale leisure, residential, education, industrial, data centres & more. Projects traditionally range in value from £1M - £300M, covering across Surrey, Hampshire, London & Berkshire for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller is to provide management and maintain all design documentation in line with company policy & procedures.

Responsibilities for Document controller:

  • Ensure all design documentation meets approved guidelines
  • controlling of the construction management systems,
  • Liaise and support site team with roll out of the latest issue of design documentation.
  • Responsible for correctly filling the appropriate documentation.
  • Overseeing, and ensuring client return documents are sufficient with system standards as well as other ad-hoc administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will either come from a Document Controller background with previous experience using software including A-Site however not essential. Or have previous experience in a Site Administrator position and be looking to take the next step in their career. This position will call upon a strong skill set with organisation, self-motivation, and good communication skills both written and verbal.
