Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Assistant to join their Dispute Resolution department. As a PA, you will play a key role in supporting fee earners, ensuring efficient operations, and providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare correspondence and documents, including transcribing digital dictation.
  • Manage mail and enclosures for dispatch.
  • Progress client matters in the absence of fee earners.
  • Arrange appointments and meetings, maintain an up-to-date diary.
  • Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone with professionalism.
  • Administer filing, including daily filing and retrieval of client files.
  • Provide support to other PA's/secretaries as required.
  • Undertake training for self-development.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all documentation and information.

Skills / Experience

  • Previous legal secretarial experience, with at least 2 years in dispute resolution.
  • Excellent touch-typing speed with high accuracy.
  • Advanced IT skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Knowledge of case management systems
  • Understanding of law/legal practise
