Senior Building Physics Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Sustainability Consultancy who have been at the forefront of providing specialist environmental services to the built environment for 20 years. They are looking for an established Senior Building Physics Consultant to take the lead on a range of exciting projects within the construction sector.

Role responsibilities for a Senior Building Physics Engineer:

  • Provide highly technical services to clients in relation to thermal comfort, overheating, LZC feasibility studies, and building regulation compliance
  • Work alongside the design team on various innovative and high-profile projects
  • Produce sustainability and energy reports for clients as well as managing key client accounts
  • Help mentor and train the more junior members of the team

The ideal Senior Building Physics Engineer will have:

  • Strong experience in a Sustainability or Building Physics role within the built environment industry
  • Educational background within a sustainability, energy, architectural, or engineering discipline
  • Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and assessments
  • Successful history of leading and delivering on industry relevant projects
  • Ideally have a CIBSE accreditation as a Low Carbon Energy Assessor
