About the Role:
My client is looking for a Deputy General Manager to work for a high-end gastro pub based in Surrey. As Deputy General Manager, youll be essential in managing day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a dynamic team. Youll work alongside the General Manager to maintain high standards, drive business success, and provide a memorable experience for every guest.
About You:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a fine dining restaurant or pub.
- Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity.
- In-depth knowledge of beverage trends, wines, and spirits.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
- Experience using a restaurant management POS system.
- Ability to manage financials, stock control, and budgets.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
