We are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team with a client based in Guildford on an on-going temporary basis. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in credit control and finance, looking to gain experience in a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will support the finance department in managing outstanding debts and ensuring timely payments.

Credit Controller - About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments
  • Chase outstanding invoices via phone, email, and letter
  • Process incoming payments and allocate them to appropriate accounts
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare regular reports on aged debt and outstanding balances
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer billing issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit control records
  • Handle administrative tasks related to credit control functions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

The successful Credit Controller will have/be:

  • Previous experience in a Credit Controller or similar finance role
  • Proficient in accounting software Sage 200
