A fantastic customer service advisor job opportunity to join a rapidly expanding insurance company with a team of 20 in the UK, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join their customer service team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to shine!

As a key member of our customer service team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries across various channels including tickets, calls, and chats. You'll assist customers with policy changes, process cancellations, and answer product-related questions, showcasing your excellent product knowledge, customer service skills, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and prioritise incoming inquiries.
  • Respond to customer requests in a polite, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and FCA regulations, including Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and secure customer records in accordance with data protection laws.
  • Achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to gather and analyse information from customers.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to individual customer's level of understanding.
  • Good common sense and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to recognise your own knowledge boundaries and seek assistance when needed.
  • Proficient computer skills (typing speed and ability to navigate between platforms/applications).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during customer interactions.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Applicants should be educated to GCSE standard, including Maths and English at level C or above. Good keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook will also be useful.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience handling insurance claims.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with Salesforce case management.

Working Hours:

  • Shifts between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The role is fully office-based with potentially some hybrid flex after probation (depending on the business’s needs).
