My client is a global company, and they are seeking a Financial Analyst for a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost management within their organisation. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start available (1 week notice would work too). The Financial Analyst will play a key role in analysing monthly costs, monitoring invoices, and supporting various teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. There will be some business partnering with IT too in this role.
Day-to-day of the role:- Responsible for the monthly analysis of costs to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor invoices processed by the accounts payable team to ensure they are posted to the correct cost centre and that payments are up to date.
- Support and challenge the project delivery team to allocate contractor and 3rd party costs accurately to the correct projects.
- Collaborate with the HR and payroll team on FTE and staff costs reporting.
- Ensure costs are allocated correctly and recharged to the Insurance business, supporting the team in financial accuracy.
- Partner with IT to ensure reports are set up and offer advice.
- Full or Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- Strong analytical skills with a keen aptitude for numbers.
- Use of SAP is essential as is good Excel skills
- Understanding of IT costs and IT services is desirable but not essential.
