I am working with my client to find a Project Financial Analyst with expertise in FP&A and Business Partnering for a temporary role, overseeing a new business park project. This position is crucial for collating and presenting financial and operational data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, including board members. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analysing lease agreements and other financial data to identify lost revenue and enhance business understanding.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyse data from various sources, including finance software, lease systems, and more, to identify trends and areas of lost revenue.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and present clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, ensuring information is accessible and understandable.
- Collaborative Working: Work closely with different departments to ensure data accuracy and relevance, providing actionable financial insights to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Presentation Skills: Deliver presentations in person, ensuring complex information is accessible and understandable to all stakeholders.
- Project Management: Manage timelines and deliverables for ongoing analysis projects, ensuring all stakeholder needs are met efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA qualified, or equivalent professional qualification, or significant experience in a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in financial modelling and analysis, proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, with other relevant finance and lease management software experience handy.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyse financial data and translate it into strategic insights.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proactivity and Independence: Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
