Role Overview:

Lead Financial Operations in delivering strategy, objectives, and KPI's for Risk and Control. Ensure risks are identified, controls are effective, and business touch points are managed. Drive operational strategy across technology, people, and processes with strong governance and oversight. Build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships. Reports to the Head of Financial Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3 staff, overseeing talent development, performance, resourcing, and budgets.
  • Drive operational improvements and manage a pipeline of initiatives.
  • Support Finance Operations control transformation, including designing and implementing the annual controls testing plan and enhancing control processes.
  • Maintain a robust risk and control framework, resolving deficiencies, and ensuring best practice standards.
  • Provide governance for strategic initiatives, including implementing the Group's risk and control reporting tool.
  • Act as a key liaison with the business, attending meetings, driving collaboration, and escalating critical issues.
  • Develop and deliver key metric reporting to leadership.
  • Resolve control gaps and self-identified issues for Finance Operations teams.
  • Partner with offshore leadership to ensure seamless collaboration with onshore teams.
  • Support internal and external audits.
