Grafton Banks Finance are working with a growing commercial company with offices in Guildford, Surrey area to recruit a Finance Operations Manager on a 12 month FTC. Reporting into the Head of Finance and board level representatives you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable and Credit Control/ Accounts Receivable projects within the business. This will also include managing processes and controls and reporting strategies alongside IT processes and implementation projects to operate a successful smooth operation within the finance operations side of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and support on the day-to-day AP/AR/CC/Billing finance activities, ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Support the team leads in team management, metrics, management reports
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, external audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvements and process controls
- Business partner with key stakeholders of the business around key operations metrics and compliances around AP/AR/CC
- Support and manage group projects around the smooth operations of the Accounts Payable, Credit control and Accounts receivable
- Work with internal and external auditors with risk management and compliance processes
The successful candidate will have experience of working within Finance Operations roles specifically managing and supporting AP/AR/CC/Billings with process improvements and implementation projects alongside supporting teams. You will need to have experience of managing finance operations on a global scale and the ability to work with process improvements. Alongside this you will need to have strong IT skills including Microsoft packages and Accounting software as well as have strong people skills and finance projects experience.
